Malvern: Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) marked a significant milestone in the history of Telugu associations in the United States with a grand kick-off and fundraising event for its second mega convention. The event was held at Blue Rose Event Center in Malvern, near Philadelphia, and witnessed an overwhelming response from the Telugu community. Despite freezing temperatures and challenging weather conditions, more than 400 community members attended the program, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and unity among Telugu NRIs.

A Vision Rooted in Service, Culture, and Equality
Founded with the mission of uniting Telugu people across America under the pillars of service, culture, and equality, MATA has expanded rapidly across the country in a short span of time. Within less than two years, the organization has conducted large-scale community initiatives, including free health screenings, and signed an MoU with the Telangana government to carry out public welfare programs, demonstrating its strong commitment to social responsibility.

While most NRI associations organize conventions once every two years, MATA has taken a proactive step by planning its second mega convention within just eighteen months. The organization stands out for embracing inclusivity, working beyond a single social group, and collaborating with diverse communities.
