Hyderabad (MediaBoss Network): The SustainX Annual 2026 Summit, a premier platform for discussions on sustainable development, responsible leadership and building future-ready organizations, was held in Hyderabad with participation from government officials, industry leaders, corporate executives, experts and representatives from the social sector.
Organized by the Telangana Facility Management Council (TFMC), the summit brought together stakeholders from diverse sectors to explore how sustainability can be transformed from a concept into practical, long-term action. Discussions went beyond environmental protection to cover technology, organizational leadership, infrastructure, sustainable procurement, future workplaces, healthcare, corporate social responsibility (CSR), civic services and sustainable tourism.
The summit commenced with delegate registration, the national anthem, a welcome ceremony and cultural performances. TFMC Founder President Mathala Satyanarayana formally inaugurated the event with an inspiring address.
GCC Conclave Highlights Evolving Role of Global Capability Centers
The GCC Conclave was one of the key highlights of SustainX 2026, featuring detailed discussions on the evolving role of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in building sustainable and future-ready organizations.
Anudeep Durishetty, IAS, Joint Secretary, Telangana IT, Electronics & Communications Department, attended the summit as the chief guest. He inaugurated the GCC session by lighting the ceremonial lamp and shared insights into the future of Hyderabad’s infrastructure, emphasizing the need to encourage developers and strengthen the city’s ecosystem to support sustainable growth.
The Procurement Conclave focused on value creation, infrastructure resilience and sustainable procurement. Industry experts shared their perspectives on building efficient, responsible and resilient procurement systems.
Focus on People, Technology and Healthcare
The afternoon sessions focused on people, technology, healthcare and social responsibility. A special ‘One Life’ conversation featuring actor Dr. Bhadram and medical experts drew considerable attention from the audience.
The HR Conclave explored the future of workplaces and evolving organizational needs, while dedicated sessions on healthcare leadership featured representatives from TX Hospitals and KIMS Hospitals.
Strong Emphasis on Social Responsibility
The CSR Conclave highlighted the importance of responsible leadership in building stronger and more inclusive communities. A presentation on the initiatives of the Sarvejana Foundation, along with discussions on various social development programmes, formed an important part of the session.
The ‘Support the Girl Child’ initiative undertaken by TFMC Cares was another major attraction, underscoring the importance of investing in the future and well-being of girls.
The summit also featured special presentations on developing Yadadri and Pochampally as sustainable tourism destinations, highlighting the potential to combine cultural heritage, tourism and responsible development.

Civic Excellence and Healthcare Leadership Awards
In the evening, Elizabeth from Lloyds delivered a special address. Civic Excellence Awards were presented to GHMC officials and traffic constables in recognition of their contribution to public service.
A dedicated Healthcare Leadership Talk, organized by KIMS Hospitals, also formed part of the evening programme.
Anudeep Durishetty further highlighted the importance of technology, organizational development, service quality and responsible growth, offering valuable direction to industry stakeholders. He subsequently participated in the Service Partner Excellence Awards ceremony.
The summit concluded on a vibrant note with business exhibitions, networking zones, cultural programmes and a fusion dance performance.
The organizers said SustainX 2026 aimed to bring government policy, industry, technology, infrastructure, healthcare, CSR, civic services and tourism together on a common platform and convert sustainable ideas into actionable partnerships for long-term growth.
