Hyderabad: The team of the upcoming Telugu film Vedavyas visited the famous Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi in Hyderabad and offered special prayers, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the success of the film.
The prestigious project is being produced by former MLA and KPRIT educational institutions chairman Kommuri Pratap Reddy under the banner of Sai Pragathi Arts, with acclaimed filmmaker S.V. Krishna Reddy directing the film. K. Achchi Reddy is presenting the movie.
Producer Kommuri Pratap Reddy, director S.V. Krishna Reddy, presenter K. Achchi Reddy and lead actor Pidugu Viswanath, along with co-producer Medapati Srinivas Reddy, senior journalist Prabhu and others, participated in the special prayers. On the occasion, producer Pratap Reddy presented a donation cheque to the organisers of the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations.
Speaking after the darshan, producer Kommuri Pratap Reddy said it was a moment of great happiness for the entire Vedavyas team to seek the blessings of the Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi. He expressed confidence in the film, stating that director S.V. Krishna Reddy had crafted it exceptionally well and that the team would bring the movie before audiences soon.
Director S.V. Krishna Reddy wished that the blessings of Lord Ganesha would be upon everyone and bring happiness and prosperity to the people.
Presenter K. Achchi Reddy said that Vedavyas had taken shape as an engaging film with contemporary relevance. He noted that S.V. Krishna Reddy had developed the story keeping the present-day social environment in mind, while ensuring that it would appeal to family audiences.
Lead actor Pidugu Viswanath said the film has been designed to connect with the Gen-Z generation while exploring the relevance of the Vedas, Indian culture and traditions in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He described the opportunity to make his debut under the direction of veteran filmmaker S.V. Krishna Reddy as a blessing from Lord Ganesha.
Viswanath further said he prayed to the Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi to bless him and help establish him as a successful actor by next year.
The team expressed confidence that Vedavyas would offer audiences a distinctive blend of contemporary themes, technology and Indian cultural values.
