Hyderabad, September 6, 2026: A 10-member delegation of journalists from Telangana is visiting Gujarat under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad. The week-long visit, scheduled from September 6 to 12, is being led by Media & Communication Officer (M&CO) Ms. Varganti Gayatri. The delegation arrived in Ahmedabad today and was welcomed by PIB officials.
The visit aims to provide journalists with first-hand information on various welfare schemes and development projects being implemented by the Union Government, while also facilitating the exchange of development experiences between states.
During the visit, the delegation will tour several major development projects and institutions, including the Sabarmati Riverfront, Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR), Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Amul Dairy, Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam.
The journalists will also visit CEPT University, the National Forensic Sciences University and Sabarmati Multimodal Hub, besides interacting with officials and other stakeholders to understand the projects, their implementation and impact.
