Hyderabad: The Ready to Serve Foundation, in association with Amma Helping Hands, organized a free food distribution (Annadanam) program near Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Around 300 meals were served to underprivileged cancer patients, their attendants, and other needy people waiting outside the hospital.

Several volunteers from the film, television, and media fraternity actively participated in the service initiative. Among them were actor Vijay Bhaskar, Jabardasth artist Shanthi Kumar, singer Srikanth Reddy, actor C.N. Reddy, journalist Swamy Muddam, and Mahesh Chintala, who personally distributed food to the beneficiaries.

The foundation members and volunteers worked together to ensure that hundreds of people received fresh meals with care and dignity. The organizers said the initiative was aimed at supporting people struggling with hunger while accompanying patients for treatment and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding such humanitarian activities in the future.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, stating that the free meal service was a great relief for poor patients and their family members who spend long hours at the hospital. Many appreciated the social service initiatives undertaken by the Ready to Serve Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Peddi Shankar, founder of the Ready to Serve Foundation, appealed to philanthropists and volunteers to join hands with the organization. He said that greater public participation would help the foundation extend support to many more people in need through its ongoing community service programs.
