A Fitting Tribute to a Dedicated Educationist
Mulugu: (MediaBoss Network) A grand retirement felicitation ceremony was organized on Monday in honor of Sri Inugala Suryanarayana, Gazetted Headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Devagiripatnam, Mulugu district. The event was held under the chairmanship of Sri Nagavarapu Sridhar, In-charge Headmaster of the school.
Mulugu District Education Officer (DEO) Siddhartha Reddy attended the event as the chief guest and extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Sri Suryanarayana on his retirement.

Addressing the gathering, the DEO praised Sri Suryanarayana for his exemplary service as an educator and administrator. He noted that Suryanarayana had successfully handled several key responsibilities during his career and made remarkable contributions to the field of education. The DEO particularly appreciated his dedicated services as the District Examination Secretary in Mulugu, describing his commitment as memorable and inspiring.
On the occasion, a Vanamahotsavam (Tree Plantation Drive) was also launched under the aegis of the DNR Educational Service Trust. The organization’s founder, Dodd Pratap Reddy, led the plantation of more than 100 flowering saplings on the school campus. DEO Siddhartha Reddy appreciated the trust’s social service initiatives, stating that its activities have become a model worthy of emulation by governments. He called upon all schools in Mulugu district to organize similar plantation drives to promote environmental conservation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dodd Pratap Reddy, Founder of the DNR Educational Service Trust, said he felt privileged to commemorate the retirement of his close friend Sri Inugala Suryanarayana through a meaningful tree plantation programme. He emphasized that planting trees is essential to provide students with clean air and a healthy environment. As part of this initiative, the trust planted 100 flowering plants in the school campus. He thanked the teaching staff of ZPHS Devagiripatnam for their support and expressed his commitment to extending all possible assistance in transforming every school in Mulugu district into a “Clean and Green School.”
During the ceremony, Mandal Education Officers, Gazetted Headmasters, teachers, and education department officials felicitated Sri Inugala Suryanarayana and his wife, Smt. Lakshmi, with shawls and mementoes, conveying their heartfelt wishes for a happy and healthy retired life.
The programme was attended by Devagiripatnam Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Poolamma, Deputy Sarpanch Raju, teachers of ZPHS Devagiripatnam, officials from the District and Mandal Education Offices, local residents, and students, all of whom contributed to making the retirement ceremony a grand success.
