Congressman Suhas Subramanyam Extends Best Wishes for the 19th ATA Convention & Youth Conference

In a landmark moment for the Telugu American community, the American Telugu Association (ATA) has received historic recognition on the floor of the United States House of Representatives for the first time in its history.
Congressman Suhas Subramanyam addressed the House and congratulated the American Telugu Association on its upcoming 19th ATA Convention & Youth Conference, scheduled to be held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. He extended his best wishes to the organization and acknowledged its remarkable contributions to the Telugu community across the United States.
The recognition marks a significant milestone not only for ATA but also for Telugu Americans nationwide. During his remarks, Congressman Subramanyam praised the growing contributions of Telugu Americans in public service, education, healthcare, business, technology, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. He also commended ATA for its unwavering commitment to preserving the Telugu language, culture, traditions, and heritage while serving the community for more than three decades.
Founded in 1991, the American Telugu Association has grown into one of the largest and most respected Telugu organizations in North America. Over the years, ATA has served thousands of families through educational initiatives, youth development programs, cultural events, health awareness campaigns, scholarships, humanitarian relief efforts, and numerous community service activities.
ATA expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Congressman Suhas Subramanyam for recognizing the organization and conveying his warm wishes on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
