Cannes, (France): Telugu cinema once again earned global recognition as the teaser and poster of the film “The Game of Song (Aatadina Paata)” were grandly unveiled at the prestigious Cannes international film platform. The unveiling ceremony was conducted by Cary Sawhney, Programming Director of the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF), who attended as the chief guest and appreciated the talent and vision of the film’s team.

The event was held at the Bharat Pavilion organized by FICCI and NFDC at Cannes. Produced by Avantika Nakshathram under the banner of Nakshathram Productions, the film is written and directed by Venu Nakshathram, who also provided the screenplay. The movie has completed shooting and is currently being dubbed into multiple Indian languages.

Featuring natural actor Abhinav Gomatam and Swathi Sharma in lead roles, “The Game of Song” is crafted as a unique socio-fantasy film with an experimental narrative style. International film personalities attending Cannes watched the teaser and congratulated the team for their innovative attempt. The appreciation received by a Telugu experimental film on an international stage has become a proud moment for Telugu cinema.

Speaking on the occasion, director Venu Nakshatram said, “At a time when Telugu cinema is expanding rapidly on the global stage, receiving such an overwhelming response for our film at Cannes is truly a matter of pride. We are dubbing the film into multiple Indian languages for wider audiences. I thank Director Sharvi, our entire team, and all the friends who supported us throughout the making of this film.”

As Telugu cinema continues to strengthen its presence in the international market, films like “The Game of Song” are gearing up to impress global audiences with fresh and innovative storytelling.
