From Racharla Gollapalli, a small village in Ellareddypet Mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district, emerged a young boy with an extraordinary dream. That boy is Dr. Sravan Suraj — now a Cardiology Super Specialist at the age of just 33.

His story is not merely about success.
It is about determination, discipline, sacrifice, and service.

Humble Beginnings, Big Dreams

Born into a modest family with no medical background, Dr. Sravan completed his schooling up to Intermediate in Telugu medium. Transitioning from a regional language background to the demanding world of medical education was not easy.

Yet, he believed deeply in one principle:

“Saving a life is the greatest service.”

With the strong encouragement of his parents, he decided to pursue medicine — determined to become the first doctor in his family.

From Telugu Medium to MBBS

Choosing the Biology stream, he worked relentlessly and secured a good rank in EAMCET. Through merit, he earned a free seat in a Government Medical College, easing the financial burden on his family.

The shift from Telugu medium to English medium medical education initially felt overwhelming. Medical textbooks, terminology, and lectures posed challenges. But instead of stepping back, he stepped forward.

Long study hours.
Self-made notes.
Continuous practice
.

His perseverance helped him successfully complete his MBBS.

Postgraduate and Super-Specialty Success

His journey did not stop there. Preparing independently for postgraduate entrance exams, he faced setbacks — but never surrendered.

Eventually, he secured a seat in DNB (General Medicine), strengthening his clinical foundation.

With unwavering focus and commitment, he then cleared the Super Specialty entrance examination and achieved DrNB (Cardiology) — fulfilling what once seemed like a distant dream.

From a small rural classroom to becoming a Cardiology Super Specialist, his journey is a testimony to grit and belief.

Service During the COVID Pandemic

During the COVID-19 crisis, Dr. Sravan served in a Government Hospital in Karnataka, standing on the frontlines when fear gripped the world.

Behind the mask was sweat.
Behind the face shield was courage.
Behind every decision was responsibility.

He treated critical patients with dedication, proving that for him, medicine is not just a profession — it is a moral duty.

Later, he continued serving people in Government Hospitals at Siddipet and Sircilla, ensuring quality healthcare reaches rural communities.

Dr. Sravan Suraj is defined not just by degrees, but by character:

Dedication

He listens patiently to patients, explains clearly, and treats every individual like a family member. His own struggles shaped him into a doctor who understands pain — not just clinically, but emotionally.

Opportunities Abroad — But Service at Home

Despite receiving opportunities abroad, Dr. Sravan chose to serve in India.

His belief is simple:

“The health of our people is my mission.”

He remains committed to strengthening healthcare access for rural and underserved communities.

Dr. Sravan Suraj’s story sends a powerful message:

A small village.
