Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu congratulated journalist and author Muddam Narasimha Swamy, who has written India’s first set of books on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Narasimha Swamy presented copies of his books — AI for Young Minds, AI in Modern Journalism, and Modern Journalism – AI — to the Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu said that he would bring these AI books to the attention of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and explore the possibility of releasing them at the state level. He reiterated that the Telangana government is giving utmost importance to the development of AI technologies and announced that work is progressing rapidly to establish a world-class AI University in Bharat Future City.
Author Muddam Narasimha Swamy expressed hope that the subjects covered in his books would be utilized as part of the curriculum for upcoming AI courses at the proposed AI University. He appreciated the Telangana government for its strong commitment to promoting advanced technologies, particularly AI.
Telangana SC Corporation Chairman N. Preetham, Telangana Minorities Corporation Chairman Obaidullah Kotwal, senior journalists Pasham Yadagiri, Macharla Kumaraswamy, Bizigiri Srinivas, and others were present at the event.
