Continuing its mission of promoting Telangana’s rich culture and traditions globally, the *Telangana Global Association (GTA) marked a significant milestone by launching its new chapters in *New Jersey and New York. Held in July, the grand event saw the participation of *Parsippany Mayor James R. Barberio* as the chief guest, who extended his congratulations and support for the initiative.
GTA Founders Alumula Malla Reddy (India Chairman) and *Vishweshwar Reddy* (USA Chairman) warmly welcomed and honored the dignitaries.
The cultural extravaganza, filled with Telangana folk music, dance, and community spirit, was the highlight of the evening. Kapidi Srinivas Reddy was elected as the President of the newly formed GTA New Jersey and New York chapters. In his speech, he stated, “Being part of GTA is an honor. I am committed to expanding its activities not only in the U.S. but globally.”
Several key personalities graced the launch including TTA USA President Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi, GTA USA President Bapu Reddy, Charles Chapter Director Manmohan, NJ AICA representatives Mahender Reddy Musugu and Prithvi Reddy, and Washington DC President Thirumal Reddy.

Alumula Malla Reddy, GTA Founder and India Chairman, said:
“GTA started just three years ago and has already expanded to 43 countries. In December, we are planning a grand convention in Hyderabad led by Vishweshwar Reddy and our team. GTA aims to connect every Telangana NRI back to their native village — we want people to become brand ambassadors of their hometowns and drive developmental activities with local leadership. We are empowering youth and preserving our traditions.”
Vishweshwar Reddy, GTA Co-Founder and USA Chairman, said:
“We launched GTA with the vision of uniting all Telangana NRIs on a single platform to contribute to the development of our state. In just three years, GTA has grown to 43 countries, connecting the global Telangana diaspora in the fields of education, healthcare, employment, and culture.”
TTA USA President Naveen Reddy added,
“We’re proud to collaborate with GTA. TTA will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary on *December 10 in the USA and December 25 in Hyderabad. We also look forward to the GTA Convention scheduled in Charles next July and invite everyone to participate.”*
GTA Co-Founder Shravan Reddy remarked,
“The launch of the New Jersey and New York chapters marks an important milestone. GTA is evolving into a powerful platform for NRIs around the globe. We will expand our service-oriented initiatives even further.”
