Milpitas, California: The Telangana Development Forum (TDF), which played a crucial role in the Telangana statehood movement, has completed 25 years of service. To mark this milestone, the Silver Jubilee Celebrations titled Pragathi Telangana commenced on Friday in the USA with grandeur. The event is being held at the Indian Community Center in Milpitas under the leadership of TDF USA President Manikonda Srinivas.
On the opening day, TDF honored senior leaders who have rendered exemplary service to the organization — T.R. Reddy, Gopal Reddy, Divesh Anireddy, and Challa Kavitha. Special tribute videos were screened, highlighting their contributions to the community.
Distinguished guests from India graced the occasion, including Telangana MLC Prof. M. Kodandaram, Telangana State Education Commission Chairman A. Murali (Retd. IAS), former MP Aatmacharan Reddy, Consul General of India in San Francisco Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, M.V. Foundation National Convener E. Venkat Reddy, former Director of Technical Education Dr. M.V. Reddy (Retd. IAS), among others.
