Riyadh: Representatives from the Global Indian Organization (GIO) and the Saudi Arabia Telugu Association (SATA) met with a group of Indian nurses in Riyadh who are currently facing difficulties related to their employment contracts arranged through a recruiting agency.

The meeting was organized to understand the challenges being faced by the nurses and to explore possible legal and professional support mechanisms.

GIO Riyadh President Preeti Chauhan initiated the session by introducing the organization and creating a supportive atmosphere where the nurses could openly share their concerns. She explained the legal procedures involved in resolving employment disputes and assured them that GIO would continue to support them in seeking lawful and fair solutions.

During the interaction, members of the GIO team carefully reviewed the nurses’ professional status and employment documentation.

Mr. Ramesh Chaudhary inquired about the validity of the nurses’ professional licenses and provided guidance to those preparing for entrance examinations. He also discussed possible coordination with relevant institutions to help them complete necessary licensing requirements.

Mr. Vivek Sharma gathered detailed information about the nurses’ journey from India to Saudi Arabia and the recruitment process they went through.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chakshu Srivastava closely examined the employment contracts and arrangements made with the recruiting agency to better understand the issues involved.

Some members of GIO, including Mr. Amit Kauntia, also joined the meeting virtually to stay actively involved in the support efforts.

Representing the Saudi Arabia Telugu Association (SATA), Ms. Sarvani played an important role in communicating with the nurses in their native language, helping them feel comfortable and confident while ensuring that their concerns were clearly understood.

As part of the support initiative, the team also distributed essential items, snacks, and refreshments to the nurses.

The nurses expressed heartfelt gratitude to the members of GIO, SATA, and the entire support team for standing by them during a difficult period. They also recorded a short video message thanking everyone for their assistance.

Special appreciation was extended to Nandu, the bus driver, who has been providing continuous transportation support to the nurses.

The meeting highlighted the commitment of both GIO and SATA to assist Indian nurses in Riyadh and ensure that they receive proper guidance and support while navigating challenging employment situations.
