Pentagon: Dr. Rajalingolla Shrungadri Kumar, a former IT professional turned social activist, has emerged as a symbol of selfless service and human compassion. Hailing from Pentakalan village, he left behind a promising corporate career to dedicate his life to social welfare, touching countless lives through his transformative initiatives.

With a strong focus on food security, healthcare, education, employment, environmental sustainability, and community development, Dr. Kumar has been a guiding force in uplifting underprivileged sections of society.

During the COVID-19 crisis, his service efforts stood as a lifeline for many. He provided meals to over 5,000 people, groceries to 4,000 families, clothes to 3,000 individuals, blankets to 2,000 homeless persons, along with essential medicines and sanitary products. Beyond immediate relief, he has been actively involved in organizing health camps, supporting thalassemia patients, donating oxygen concentrators, distributing more than 1,000 school kits, and promoting employment opportunities. His environmental initiatives include sapling plantations and Swachh Bharat activities, reinforcing his vision for a cleaner and greener society.

Recognizing his outstanding contribution, Dr. Kumar has been honored with several prestigious awards, including an Honorary Doctorate from Asia International Cultural Research University, the Seva Puraskar Award, the Best Social Service Award (2022), the Best Social Activist Award (2022), and the Uttama Seva Rathna Award (2023). These accolades reflect not just his achievements, but his unwavering commitment to the welfare of humanity.
