HYDERABAD: Dr. Kandala Ramaiah, a distinguished academic and decorated Mathematics Teacher at Zilla Parishad High School in Abbapur, Mulugu District, has been conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology. The degree was awarded during the 84th Convocation of Osmania University, a premier institution of higher learning accredited with a NAAC A++ grade.
The prestigious honor was bestowed upon him in the presence of eminent dignitaries, including Dr. K. Sivan Narayanan, Chairman of ISRO, and Prof. Kumar Molugaram, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, who presided over the ceremony.
Dr. Ramaiah’s doctoral thesis, titled “Coping Styles among High School Teachers: The Role of Emotional Intelligence, Occupational Stress, and Personality,” was completed under the expert supervision of Prof. Valluri Ramachandram, Registrar of Kakatiya University, Warangal. His research provides critical insights into the professional lives of educators, exploring how emotional intelligence and personality traits can serve as vital tools for managing occupational stress and improving classroom effectiveness.
This academic milestone is the latest in an illustrious career spanning over 26 years. Dr. Ramaiah is a recipient of the State Best Teacher Award (2019) and the coveted National Best Teacher Award (2022), accolades that recognize his profound dedication, innovative teaching methods, and compassionate approach to education.
