The Telangana Development Forum (TDF) marked Telangana Formation Day with enthusiastic celebrations across the United States, uniting the global Telangana diaspora in a vibrant tribute to the state’s cultural legacy and historic journey to statehood.
From New Jersey and Detroit to Chicago, Atlanta, and California’s Bay Area, TDF chapters organized a series of community-centric events, including 5K runs, outdoor gatherings, and cultural programs. These events not only celebrated Telangana’s formation but also served as a platform to promote unity, preserve heritage, and strengthen the bond among Telangana families living abroad.
This year’s celebrations carried added significance, as they also marked the beginning of preparations for TDF’s landmark 25th Anniversary celebrations, scheduled for August 8th and 9th. With renewed energy and excitement, community members came together to reflect on TDF’s 25 years of dedicated service—spanning cultural preservation, community empowerment, and developmental initiatives both in Telangana and internationally.
Through these events, TDF reaffirmed its mission to build bridges between the global Telangana community and grassroots development efforts back home—honoring the past while actively shaping a better future.
