Hyderabad: An awareness workshop for innovative farmers on oil palm cultivation was organized in Kothapeta, Hyderabad, under the chairmanship of Dodda Sambareddy, Innovative Farmer and Marketing Manager, JSM Agri Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Speaking at the event, P. Veera Reddy, Managing Director of Agbiotech, elaborated on practical challenges in oil palm cultivation. Sharing his personal experiences, he highlighted the potential issues farmers may face and provided insights on overcoming them. He emphasized that oil palm cultivation is a low-risk venture and recommended intercropping with crops like banana and cocoa to enhance profitability.

Guruvareddy, President of the Nalgonda District Oil Palm Growers Association, addressed the gathering, urging farmers to avoid undue stress and focus on reducing cultivation costs. He encouraged model farmers to share their hard-earned experiences to inspire others, stressing that farming should be a joyful and fulfilling endeavor. “Let us all support and empower farmers,” he remarked, advocating for collective efforts to uplift the farming community.
