Key Highlights from the Media Interaction
Speaking at the event, Ravindrajith stated, “On December 21, as part of the ‘Jai Dwarka’ campaign, we conducted the Sri Krishna Jala Japa Deeksha during World Sunken City Day. This event, held in collaboration with the Gujarat Tourism Department and Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, was a grand success. As a proud citizen of Telangana, I feel honored to have organized this prestigious event and etched it in the records of the world. Our primary objective for the Sri Krishna Jala Japa Deeksha was to appeal to the Government of India to resume underwater excavations in Dwarka to rediscover its ancient glory. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Gujarat Government and Central Tourism Department for their unwavering support in this initiative led by IT’S 6TH WOW.”

Highlights of the Record-breaking Event:
The Sri Krishna Jala Japa Deeksha was conducted at the same site along the Dwarka coast where Prime Minister Narendra Modi once engaged in scuba diving. The event featured Ravindrajith and a team of seven scuba divers performing the underwater ritual. Simultaneously, 70 participants performed the Japa ritual on the water’s surface. The participants also conducted a Havan Puja to invoke blessings for the success of underwater excavations to rediscover the ancient city. This spiritual and cultural program brought renewed global attention to Dwarka, and the event was officially recognized by the Indian Book of Records as the largest spiritual practice performed underwater. Cultural performances based on the story of Sri Krishna and Dwarka further captivated the audience.

Guinness World Record Attempt:
Members of IT’S 6TH WOW have conducted extensive research, collecting evidence supporting the historical significance of Dwarka as a global capital in ancient times. As part of the Jai Dwarka Campaign, the organization is striving to include Dwarka in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. On February 17, during the World Tourism Racelines Day, the group plans to create a massive Jai Dwarka logo using 700 participants on the Dwarka sea surface, aiming for a Guinness World Record. The logo, inspired by Sri Krishna’s seven peacock feathers, symbolizes seven ancient civilizations of the world.

The event witnessed the participation of notable personalities, including:

Mr. Ravindrajith, Member of World Tourism Day, United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Madrid, Spain, and General Secretary of IT’S 6TH WOW.
