Bibinagar (November 10, 2024): MLC and Professor Kodanda Ram inaugurated the “Science Lab on Wheels” project in Gudur Village, Bibinagar Mandal, Yadadri District, Telangana. Spearheaded by the Telangana Development Forum (TDF), this initiative aims to make science education accessible across Telangana’s rural areas. Through this mobile lab, students in over 600 Mandals will gain practical exposure to science and technology, including immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experiences and Artificial Intelligence (AI) education. TDF seeks CSR funding to support this ambitious project, hoping to inspire and empower students through hands-on learning.
TDF-USA President Srinivas Manikonda also highlighted the project’s mission to bridge the digital divide in rural schools. By integrating VR and advanced technologies, TDF envisions a future where government school students gain the same opportunities as their urban counterparts. Within five years, TDF aims to train every government school student in Telangana using VR-based science experiments.
During the inaugural address, TDF-India President Matta Rajeshwar Reddy emphasized that the program is committed to bringing revolutionary changes to science education for students in rural government schools across Telangana.
The event saw an enthusiastic response from local leaders, educators, and students. Special guests included CEO of Prateek Foundation, Gonareddy; former CERT Director, Anand Kishore; District Education Officer Satyanarayana; former DEO Narayana Reddy; BJP leader Guduru Narayana Reddy; and Youth for Seva Convener Swaroop Rani. Attendees lauded the students’ practical demonstrations, which showcased their understanding of science. The event concluded with the presentation of mementos to the dignitaries, marking a key milestone in Telangana’s education sector.
