Palle Ravi Kumar appointed as Chairman of Telangana State Toddy Tapper Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited.
The Telangana State Toddy Tapper Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited has a new chairman. Palle Ravi Kumar Goud, a renowned journalist and leader, has been appointed to the position by the government. This announcement was made by the Chief Secretary, A. Santhi Kumari, on Thursday.
Ravi Kumar is widely recognized for his contribution to the Telangana statehood movement. As the president of the Telangana Journalists Forum, he worked closely with the current Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao, during the telangana movement from 2001 to 2014.
Moreover, Ravi Kumar is actively involved in social and political work in the Munugode Assembly constituency. His father, the late Palle Lingaiah, was a key participant in the Telangana armed struggle. Ravi Kumar, belonging to the Gouda community, enjoys a good reputation among the BC communities.
Before his appointment, Ravi Kumar worked as a journalist in various prominent vernacular dailies from 1996 to 2011. He actively participated in the Telangana movement since 1997.
Considering his exemplary contribution to society and his impressive track record, Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao appointed Ravi Kumar as the chairman of the Telangana State Toddy Tapper Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited.
